Obake is the fifth addition to the Manor and the only ghost. Obake’s nature is to terrify and has no desire to be liked by anyone. However, she feels a kinship with Kojin and Gothica and always backs up Gothica’s schemes to keep herself entertained.
Before Obake came to live in, or haunt, Precious Miseries Manor, she haunted many other houses. She found diversion frightening the inhabitants of homes, occasionally multiple at a time. While she had no particular drive to do so, it was the only thing someone like her could do to pass the long, long years.
In her many years as a ghost, Obake had never uttered a breath about the cause of her death until she met lil’ Kojin. They eventually became good friends, due to their similarities in death, and are usually found together. Many think Obake has some tragic reason why her spirit can not leave this world, but her death remains a closely guarded secret.
She has a hauntingly ethereal, beautiful voice, but she keeps her talent a secret from others. Only a select few have heard her singing.
